Maratone a Bíblia is an innovative app designed to read and study the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Created by Philippe Azevedo (@mapasdoph), it offers a creative way to stay consistent in God's Word.
The app aims to encourage men and women to dedicate more time to Scripture. Just like binge-watching a TV series or movies, Maratone a Bíblia allows users to do the same with the Bible.
One of its features is the Pomodoro Timer, a technique that helps with focus and concentration. This allows users to overcome distractions and have a more focused Bible study experience. It involves 25 minutes of concentrated reading and study, followed by a 5-minute break.
Maratone a Bíblia offers three Bible versions: ACF (Almeida Corrigida Fiel), NVI (Nova Versão Internacional), which has a more accessible language, and JFA (João Ferreira de Almeida), which provides a more classic translation. Users also have the option to read and study the physical Bible.
The app includes all 66 books of the Bible, categorized into: Pentateuch, Historical Books, Poetic Books, Major Prophets, Minor Prophets, Gospels, Acts, Letters, and Revelation. It allows users to easily navigate through each section.
Additionally, Maratone a Bíblia displays the most read and popular books on the platform, giving users insights into what others are studying.
Among its functionalities, the app keeps track of the number of chapters read and the amount of time spent reading the Bible. This allows Christians to monitor their progress in Bible reading and study. In the digital reading mode, users can highlight important passages and even copy them to share with friends and family.
